Full Talk: The Prophet’s ﷺ Family Life

In one hadith of Bukhari Umm al-mu’minīn Aisha says, “For two whole months the fire in the hearth of the home of The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not be lit because there was no solid food to cook and occasionally we would receive a gift of milk.”

The Prophet ﷺ loved meat, but never would he overindulge and consume it regularly. We live in a time where meat and good food are plenty, often leading to overindulging lifestyles with disregard to our physical health. On the other hand there are some of us who count the amount of calories we consume to monitor our diet and try to live a healthier lifestyle by choosing the food we eat.

The Prophet ﷺ remains a prime example of how we should live our lives on a daily basis. His routine would balance the perfect lifestyle to keep himself physically, mentally and spiritually fit.

Find out in this short excerpt what the Prophet ﷺ would eat and how much meat he would consume when he was invited to a meal.
