Imam Bukhari: His Life & Character

Of all the works of Ḥadīth, Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī is regarded as the most authentic and authoritative work after the Qurʾān. This book was composed by Imam Muḥammad ibn Ismā‘īl al-Bukhārī who began his journey seeking Ḥadīth at an early age and studied under more than 1000 scholars. What do we know of the character and life of this great scholar of Ḥadīth?
