Full talk: Capitalise on 5 before 5

In light of the ḥadīth whereby the Prophet ﷺ encourages the believers to capitalise on five things before missing out, some ‘ulamā have mentioned that only four people appreciate the value of four things; the old appreciate the value of youth, the poor appreciate the value of wealth, the sick appreciate the value of good health and only the dead appreciate the value of life.

Various verses of the Qur’ān emphasise the final point, where individuals will plead with Allāh to return them to life so that they can change their ways. Find out in this excerpt how four people can truly appreciate the value of four things and how we can be from among them.
