The Prophet ﷺ did not just show mercy and compassion to his people, but to all creation of Allah. When a person overworked their animal the Prophet ﷺ would advise against it. If a person ever cursed their animal the Prophet ﷺ would teach them a lesson and free the animal. In many cases the Prophet ﷺ always stood up for and defended the rights of those creations of Allah that were being oppressed. This is because the suffering of others would weigh heavy and burden the Prophet ﷺ.
