Full talk: The Prophet’s ﷺ Love & Concern for his Ummah

We understand the word ‘nasihah’ to mean advice and good counsel, but where does this come from? The idea of someone advising another is that they have the other person’s best interests at heart. They wish well for them and want them to succeed.

The prophet’s a.s wanted the best for their people. They advised them as a father who advises his own child, wanting the best for them. The prophets Nuh, Hud, Salih and Shuaib all mention similar words to their people despite their taunts and jibes at them. Despite their people’s rejection, the prophet’s only wished well for them and continued to try and advise them.

Find out in this excerpt the meaning of the word ‘nasihah’ and how all the prophets advised their people despite their rejection.
