Suhayb ibn Sinan ar-Rumi is famously known as ‘Suhayb the Roman’ even though he was born as an Arab. His life is full of incredible stories and journeys he had to undertake from a young age. This excerpt focuses on the inspiring journey of his Hijrah (emigration) from Makkah to Madinah, how he was followed by a group of the Quraysh and how he traded in all of his wealth and possessions so that he may complete his Hijrah.

This sacrifice lead to verses being revealed about him before his arrival into Madinah, along with the Sahabah and Prophet ﷺ congratulating him of his glad tidings.
