Full Talk: The Madinan Society: A Tafsir of Surat al-Hujurat – Part 6

The sahabah demonstrated the spirit of brotherhood without the need for any names or titles. We have the names and titles today, yet we lack that same spirit of brotherhood. The Arab tribes in Medina were bitter, sworn enemies of each other yet Allah managed to reconcile their hearts and create brotherhood between them by uniting them under the banner of Islam.

Brotherhood can not be attained through wealth or mere titles. We must realise that true unity and brotherhood is only achieved by following the sunnah of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

Find out in this excerpt how the sahabah lived like brothers and what we can do to attain this relationship with others.
